PDF rendering API changes after September 1, 2025 – what you need to know

Earlier (on January 7, February 4, April 8, and August 18, 2025) we reached out to all customers and resellers of the Apportunix Document Creator extension with updates regarding the roll-out schedule of the new rendering service/API.

In the latest message from August 18, 2025, we announced that starting from September 1, 2025, all requests will be automatically redirected to the new rendering service/API.
Please note that there is no option to revert to the previous version of the rendering service/API.

With version 2.110.0.0 of the “Document Creator” extension, the new version of the rendering service/API will be used automatically as it uses new default rendering API URLs.
Please update the “Document Creator” extension to version 2.110.0.0 or newer in your Business Central Production environment.

If you did not take the opportunity to test the new version before it became the default and are now facing errors or discrepancies in the output, then please follow these steps:

  1. Adjust your report layouts to resolve any errors and/or discrepancies. If you need assistance, please contact your Apportunix reseller as your first point of contact to resolve the issues.
  2. If the errors cannot be resolved easily or quickly by modifying your report layouts, and this causes a major business disruption or standstill, please contact the Apportunix support team for further assistance.
    The support team will help you get up and running as soon as possible.

We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation in working with the Apportunix support team to resolve any issues and ensure a smooth transition to the new rendering service/API.
